Overview

• Poverty, hunger, and war each affect approximately a billion people, nearly half of whom are children.
• Environmental issues are even more pervasive. 3.2 billion people (40% of us) live in areas of degraded land from deforestation, over-grazing, and desertification. Including pollution of water, air, and soil, all life on earth is impacted.
• 3L can totally eradicate these issues.

What does 3L offer?

• By aligning the law with the Principle that we must not aggress against each other, and each of us adopting the Aspirational Values, 3L can totally eradicate these issues.
• There is enough food and resources on the planet to meet every human’s basic survival needs without jeopardizing the planet.
• All of these problems stem from violations of property rights; a failure to respect people’s right to live free from aggression.
  • Poverty stems from theft and artificial barriers to making a living.
  • Hunger stems from poverty.
  • War is the invasion of property.
  • Environmental damage is either an invasion or a complete lack of property rights.
• Definitions as follows:
  • Poverty: living on less than $2.15/day.
  • Hunger: not having enough food to meet daily bodily energy needs.
  • War-zone: living within 5 kilometres of violent conflict.
