- Trespass is when a person or other material item, such as soundwaves, smells, or any pollutant, transgresses the boundary of another person’s property without consent, thereby violating the victim’s right to exercise control over their broadly defined property.
- In the case of soundwaves, smells, or pollutants, a de minimus level is set by the local community to allow for the minor expected consequences of living in the world.
